

More chemistry is no longer a long-term solution in food cultivation. Soils are becoming salinized, plants contain fewer and fewer nutrients, the climate is changing, and harvests are declining. New challenges require new approaches.
With SolvaTerra, we want to drive a rethinking — away from conventional agriculture and toward natural, sustainable solutions. Our TerraBeads contain microorganisms inspired by the soil microbiome. Through the innovative formulation of the beads, these microbes are released slowly and in a controlled manner into the soil, where they establish themselves over the long term. Thanks to the individual properties of the microbes — such as nitrogen fixation, production of plant hormones, and more — the soil can be improved naturally and fertilizer applications can be reduced.
Depending on the bacterial community used, the TerraBeads offer a flexible platform that can be adapted to the specific requirements at hand.
